Laura Sklenka, CPA and President
Laura is a certified public accountant and graduated from John Carroll University in 2011. She had several years of public accounting experience before continuing her career at Accounting Solutions. Laura purchased the firm in 2021. She loves being a mother, working with her sister, and being a small business owner. Her husband also runs his own business, so she can relate to the struggles small business owners face every day. When she is not working, Laura loves spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Millie.

Rachel Murrer, CPA and Manager
Rachel is a Certified Public Accountant. She received her Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a Legal Environment of Business Minor from Penn State University. Prior to joining Accounting Solutions, she worked for several years at a large CPA firm in Pittsburgh. She enjoys working with entrepreneurs to help navigate accounting and tax questions that come with starting a new business. Outside of work, Rachel loves spending time with family and friends, taking walks with her dog, dancing, and traveling to new places.

Jessica Hillard, Manager
Jessica joined our team after a year of experience in public accounting. She completed her Master’s and undergraduate Accounting degrees from California University of Pennsylvania. Her duties include preparing personal and business income returns, assists with client special projects, and manages bookkeeping services. Jess loves reading, traveling, and going to Pittsburgh Penguins and Steelers games.

Jamie Torboli, Payroll Department Manager
Jamie is among our veteran employees at Accounting Solutions. For 30 years, she has overseen the payroll service operations. She does processing, filing and paying payroll taxes, and much more, making her our “payroll guru”! When not working, Jamie loves to travel, spend time with her family, and watch her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Sharon Ingram, Head Bookkeeper/Payroll
Sharon has over 36 years of bookkeeping experience and can help with just about any of your bookkeeping questions. As a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, she is an expert in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online. As such, she has helped many of our clients navigate the transition to a QBO platform. She also provides excellent client service in accounts payable and payroll services. During her off work hours, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Sandy Zynosky, Bookkeeper
Sandy joined Accounting Solutions in 2012. She studied accounting at Penn Commercial and previously worked for Washington Financial Bank. Sandy wears many hats and does bookkeeping, payroll and works as an office manager. During her free time, Sandy loves country music and spending time with her energetic dog and her family.

Heather Walsh, Payroll/Bookkeeper
Heather has been with Accounting Solutions for more than eight years, bringing with her 20 years of accounting experience. Heather has a strong familiarity with QuickBooks. Among her many duties, Heather completes financial statements for her bookkeeping clients, processes accounts payable, and assists with payroll preparation. When she is not working, Heather loves spending time with her family.
